We love when kids get the opportunity to use their creativity, and what better way than to turn their favorite wintertime snack into a stamp? These DIY citrus stamps are super easy to make, and we think your little ones will have a blast creating fun designs with them!

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

You’re going to want to gather all your materials before you get started. Have your kids pick out their favorite citrus at the store. It can be anything from lemons to grapefruit to clementines. Once they have a variety of fresh citrus picked out, then it’s time to find their favorite color paint. You probably already have this at home. You’re also going to want various colors of card stock and paper plates.

Step 2: Prepare Materials

Now you’re going to want to prepare all of your materials so they’re ready-to-go when your little ones are. Help your kids cut the citrus fruits in half. Then have them squirt the various colors of paint onto different paper plates. Set out your card stock, and it’s time to go!

Step 3: Have Fun!

Now it’s time to have some fun! Dip your citrus halves in the various paint colors and stamp them onto your card stock. Depending on what fruit you chose, you could get circles or you could see the whole inside of the fruit outlined (what you think of when you see cartoon fruit).
