Holiday Pomegranate Sangria
We’re bringing a taste of Spain to the midwest with this holiday pomegranate sangria recipe. Give this a try at your Christmas celebration!

1/4 cup water
1/4 cup cane sugar
4 slices fresh ginger root
1 bottle red wine
3 cups pomegranate juice
1/2 cup brandy
1/8 cup Crazy Fresh Orange Juice
1 large orange, sliced
1 green apple, cored and sliced
1/4 cup Crazy Fresh Pomegranate Arils
Directions
- Place the sugar, water and ginger slices in a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, simmering until thick and syrupy. Remove the ginger, then let cool.
- Place the syrup, red wine, pomegranate juice, brandy and orange juice in a large pitcher or punch bowl and stir to combine. Place in fridge to rest, at least 2-3 hours.
- Roughly an hour before serving, add in sliced oranges, apples and pomegranate arils.
- Serve over ice with more fruit slices if desired.
