Merry Triple Berry Hand Pies

  • 1 1/2 cups flour

  • 1/2 cup butter

  • 8 ounces cream cheese

  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar, plus 1 teaspoon

  • 2 containers Crazy Fresh Triple Berry Blend

  • 2 tablespoons water

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch


  • Preheat oven to 400º.
  • Process flour, butter, and half the cream cheese in a food processor for 30 seconds or until mixture is well blended and starts to form a ball. Divide into 8 equal pieces and shape each into a ball.
  • Roll out each ball of dough between 2 sheets of wax paper into 4-inch round pieces. Remove dough from wax paper, and place in single layer on parchment-covered baking sheets.
  • Place remaining cream cheese in medium-sized microwavable bowl. Microwave on high for 20 seconds. Whisk in 2 tablespoons of sugar until blended. Spread onto dough.
  • Toss Berry Blend with water, then cornstarch and mix until evenly coated. Spoon onto dough rounds leaving a 1-inch border. Fold edges of dough over fruit. Dough will not completely cover fruit in center.
  • Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until crusts are golden brown and fruit is hot and bubbly. Cool 15 minutes, then sprinkle with remaining sugar.
